Gaming monitors are not about the colors, it's about refresh rate and response time. Unless you want an ultimate gaming PC and vibrant colors are important to you, you won't need IPS based panels. And if you would go IPS, it needs to be either a very new one or a overdriven one and with polarizer or else a TN panel doesn't lack too much to take that instead. Don't get me wrong, I'd love it if they would do an 30" IPS version with polarizer. Sure insane price for that, but what you pay for is the best.
Anyone know what panel they're using?
