That is about how it ends up.

    Itty bitty update.

Well I got the case back and it looks great, especially for what I paid for it.

Expect some real updates this weekend.
Looking forward to the updates and lots of pics!!

    great! subd

    Photo tip:
If you will post the pictures in little bit larger size (e.g. 1024x768) you can avoid excessive sharpening that you have now. Or just scale down your pictures with any program with good AA algorithm (like Photoshop) before posting.

    Another tip
For now my favourite button in the camera is "set custom white balance". I take the white page, put the camera view on it then press this button and I am ready to take the pictures with any light conditions without any color distortion However not every camera has this function

    Thanks for the tips.

I'm don't think I have that custom white balance. The camera is just a cheap Panasonic 5MP point and shoot. I think the thing is like 3 years old now.

I don't have any photo editing software yet either. This is probably my first major photo shoot.

    Well, here you guys go.

I didn't paint that lower bay bacause if the HHD racks. I was worried they would have issues slidding. I also figure you wouldn't see it. I might just take some paint one day and take care of it.

Well, hope to be showing off some final build pics tomorrow.

    Happy Halloween all.

Yea, I got lucky and found a spot that does weekly high volume runs, so they said they would just throw mine in and charge me your minimum charge. I also only had an option of the matte black or a gloss white.

$50 is about right though. I got a quote for $40 and one for $60 for just basic colors.

    Thanks much.

    Thanks Charles.

    Update!

Well, its still not done yet. There are a few odds and ends to do. I installed the bottom fans upside down for one.

I still need to build another extension cable for the second 8 pin ATX power cable. I also have a couple of hoses to still connect and a few final connections to make along with some cable management issues.

It does look really nice though. I am really happy with it so far. I hope to have it under a leak test sometime tonight.

    Couple of teaser pics.

looking good miller. ONce you find away to route the cables slightly better as I see the CPU 8 pin is going right through the middle of the action. AFter that I think it'll look awesome Good job so far buddy.

Yep, that will be fixed for certain. I was running those tubes late last night and didn't notice I did that till I got it done.

Looks great, MT. That blue sleeving...is that Nil's MDPC-X sleeving? Would like to see a close-up shot perhaps?

yeah, that happens to me sometimes. Only that I get lazy and leave it like that till I have to take it apart again

I am also interested in seeing a close up shot of the sleeving if possible?

The blue sleeving is actually some that I got from BoxGods. Its is some nice sleeving. Its a little bigger diameter than Nil's Sata sleeves. Everything else is Nil's stuff though.

I'll see if I can get a good photo of the sleeving tomorrow. I'm working on homework at a friend's house today. Yea for school

    Thanks guys.

    GOOD NEWS

It is up and running. I was trying to wait for the sun to break so I could take some photos, but it didn't till I had to leave for classes and now it is dark.

I'll try to get photos up in the morning. I've been busy getting everything installed, so no OC'ing just yet.

    Thanks guys.

It's looking great. I like the powder coating and you can't beat the price.

I want to see how things go. I'm wondering how good the temps are with the XT. I bought one on friday and I got it today. It even came with the 1156 backplate. I had emailed michelle about the backplate immediately after I bought the block. Seems like I'll have two backplates now. The bad thing is that I won't know how well the XT cools for a while. I ended up killing my MB before I got a chance to test out the XT.

Well, I have the T3 with the Core I5 under the XT on a MCR320-QP on sub-loop 1 and the GTX295 with the EK block on a MCR220-QP on sub-loop 2.

I did a quick OC on the GTX295 to 683/1386/1197 and the Core I5 is at 1.3v and 3.2 IIRC. I just clicked the dummy OC on the EVGA BIOS for the time being.

The CPU was at about 45 and the GPUs were at about 48. The P55 chip stayed in the 40s, but the VRMs were showing around 55. I have both 8 pins pluged in. This was while playing Crysis for about 15 mins. It was just a quick test to check temps and see how pretty Crysis looked.

It seems that the P55 chip needs cooling like a normal SB needs cooling, but some VRM waterblocks might not be a bad idea.

I'll post screen shots when I start OC this thing for real.

    BIG UPDATE!!!

Here are the final build photos. (well not final )

I still need to a new DVD burner and paint it black. That beige plastic sticks out like a sore thumb. I had to steal the DVD burner from my old build as I was still using IDE and forgot to get a new drive.

I also need to paint PCI slot covers black. I was debating about getting black thumb screws too, but now that I look at it, the silver thumb screws seem to go with the fittings pretty nicely.

    Enjoy guys.
