For the life of me i couldn't find a facepalm smiley so {insert facepalm here } .


No it going to be way faster .

We'll see, even ATI only claims (on their promotional poster) that 5870 is 38% faster than the GTX285 in Crysis with AA/AF (30% w/o), and a FTW GTX285 is about 10% faster than the standard GTX285.

A 285 FTW already is 80% of a 5870 in Crysis, how fast is "much faster?" If 20% is "much faster" that would make the 5850 96% as fast as a 5870, which for some reason I don't think is the case.
