    But then I started getting withdrawals from moving away from s775 so I decided to build a cheapo rig and satisfy my appetite for overclocking on this platform.

    I had the choice of picking another Q9650, but there were many horror stories in this thread about lack-lustre 9650s with 1.300 vids, while the 9550s seem to show relatively better results. I decided to go as cheap as possible while pushing the clocks as much as my air-cooler would allow for 24/7. I still haven't finished putting parts together; I need better ram and psu, but this is what I've done so far. Oh, this chip also happens to be my best s775 chip do date.
