i love the way you have managed the SATA cables going into the hard-drive looking nice and tidy

this build really is looking stunning keep up the good work
Thanks exemay, the quality of the finish on the grilles is excellent,it seemed a shame to powdercoat them.I had hoped to get this pretty much finished over the weekend but had to go in to work so got nothing done,i'm giong to be busy this week and the week after i'm going to Prague,so it looks like this is going on hold for a couple of weeks.

cant wait to see the update! i know what its like....you plan to do something on X day but it never materializes cause there is always something that comes up or someone needs you... i guess you just gotta let life flow and fit in what you can when you can!

nice build subset, I like b&w cases!

I's like to ask, how did you removed those plastic rings from the PSU cables? I also have Antec power supply
btw sleeving looks very good, your solution with molex connectors is brilliant

    This is looking great!

Can I ask, can you still use the top-most PCI-E 1x slot (small black one) with your Northbridge/Southbridge block in place, or does it block any cards (by being too thick/high) ?

I cut down one side carefully with a junior hacksaw then opened them up with pliers

Yes the top Pci-e slot is still useable, the block isn't as deep as the socket.

Been a while since I last updated this as I haven't had much time lately, anyway I sleeved the power/reset switches individually

    Fitted back in the case

I got two of these displays to monitor the water temperature in the two res's

These are going in to one of the 5.25" bay covers which i've marked out

And after a few cuts with the Dremel

Before the displays go in I wanted to spray them white, which means dismantling them,to do this you need to cut the retaining slots on one side

Cut out with a sharp knife

Tha back should just pop open then

    Tha PCB removed

Now i'm left with the piece I want to paint

    Sprayed and clear coated

    Test fitted in the cover

Just need to reassemble them now,I hope to get this finished at the weekend that's if the missus doesn't get on my case about doing the garden,it's starting to get a bit wild out there

I've reassembled the displays and done a quick test just to make sure they were ok

Everything seems fine so i'll solder them up to the sensors in the res's tomorrow.
