try with stock HT/NB @ 2000 and kepp CPUvore stock and use NBvid @1.2v...

This should get you stable to boot ,, you may even have a ram problem or videocard driver problem if its crashing right in the Windows XP/Vista screen...

If its a Blue BSOD see what the BSOD says and go from there. IF its driver related try in safe mode and reinstall what ever driver was creating the problem.

If using 1066 divider try the 800... Sometimes a Bios can set wrong timing in 1066mode vs 800 and you can raise the HTT if you need more than 800 on the ram.

Make shure your using the Best Bios. Ive seen some be real buggy on the XT. The F4 i think was best ,im not 100% shure though.

It just locks up when vista should start booting. Whats stock nbvid? Im using the 1600 divider

Does the same thing with 800divider, when it is finished loading vista and the vista mark should appear then it just locks up.... Where can i find the F4A bios then?

Im bad try it with 1333 divider . You may may not be doing what its suppose to be doing.

As for NBVID its in your Bios you will need to add +.100 to the NBvid setting this will make it 1.2volts.

As for HT and NB freqency its suppose to be 2000 not 1600...I always test with deafault settings and then ADD to The NBvid if the ram or CPU is buggy.

Goto gigabyte site and download the F4A .

Where can i find the bios? I must be both stupid and blind but i cant find it http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/M...ProductID=3010

Tried the F4 Bios but no luck ther either with 1333 divider Going for F4I now

Tried the F4G with no luck, reinstalled XP and now it locks up at the welcome screen... When i run prime/linpack at 3.8ghz it runs like a breeze but programs around it starts to shut down... My UD4 was , this cpu/mobo doesnt seem to be much better...
