I am looking for a UD3P based setup with either Q9550 or Q9650. Which one would you choose? I am aiming for about 4.2 Ghz, but with the lowest possible voltages. I am using TRUE120 with one Syche 2000 fan. I would aim for about 4.2 Ghz. It would mean 8.5 x 500 for the Q9550 or 9 x 470 for the Q9650. FSB 472 is more stable because of the 8 GB RAM, isn't it?
Or these boards are so stable up to 500 that it really doesn't matter? Can I easily use one with FSB 500 for 24/7 on the long term?
Do you think I can get a system which is as stable as my Maximus Formula was, which means once set up to be Prime stable it will be running without a fuss for years?
