Where did you get this from?

Mine won't do 4.2 with 1.3ghz, I'm gonna play with it some more this weekend and see how far I can get with 1.35~1.37vcore past that my temps get too high for my taste.

Especially B batch with low last three digits OCs really nice. They also have very low VID so it runs cooler, too. Do keep us posted, though, on how yours is doing as far as OCing is concerned.

I bought it from a guy who got it from a store in Australia (where I'm from). He told me he could get it to 4.2ghz on 1.38V on air. I'll be watercooling, so hopefully I'll get a bit further then that for 24/7.

so I tested my new D0 batch 3851A286
went up to 4,629GHz! on a foxconn bloodrage (p07 bios)
Still have to try different settings to see how far I can stabilise it. But it seemed ok until 4,3!

Did you get yours from the microcenter in westmont?

I have the exact same batch number - I saw two batches while I was there, 3844A717 (they had several) and 3849A866. I did a quick google search while I was there and the latter pulled up better results. Some claimed to do 3.8 on 1.1x, some 4.2 on 1.2x

let me know how yours turns out.

I'm considering going to the other MC to check out the batches there.

Do matching batches mean anything? I've seen pep with the same batch as mine (3850A975) with OCs in the 4GHz - 4.2GHz with 1.25/1.27v area and mine needing 1.32 for 4GHz and a whopping 1.4v for 4.2GHz

And maybe I just have a turd of a D0

Batches often let you know if its decent but obs some may be worse than others. Have you tried messing with the other settings to try lower the vcore?

Yea, no joy but then again I'm not sure which bits to change for which problem, any suggestions?
