Have you benched a Phenom II X4 and a TWKR yet? I don't think you are reading anything, the TWKR is a slightly better bin than the average 955. Don't get it in your head that the freak 955 Chew* has is normal, his is way out in left field and he's spent days tweaking it. Playing with a TWKR is not a waste of time and if you are expecting 4.5GHz 24/7 stable then you have no idea how much the manufacturing process and design come into play. AMD's manufacturing process has created chips that scale with temperature, Intel's process has created chips that scale with voltage and modestly with temperature.
