    HT on also**
for me to get 4.4 ht on stable is becoming a pain. I mean I have 2 chips that will do 4.3 ht on fairly easy but will not do 4.4. There is got to be something I'm not doing right. This Classified board is not that easy to overclock. I need help!!!! lol

    Hi,

I have a D0 that I just put in that is running stock. It is running 12 GB of Corsair Dominator RAM at stock (1066mHz) speed. The CPU batch is 3910A313 that I got from the Tustin, CA Frys. I am using a Gigabyte EX58-UD5.

Anyone have experience with this batch? How well do you think it will do with 12 GB of RAM?

well I have no experience with D0's. but the more RAM you use the more your overclock is hurt. MOre stress on the memory controller. BUt if you use 12gb for daily use, then maximum overclock shouldn't be your priority.

No, I am not going for 4gHz or anything. I was hoping for anything over 1400mHz for the memory and 3gHz for the CPU. Is that doable with this stepping and 12GB of RAM?

I do not have time to tweak like crazy, I am just looking for a set and forget setting. Not looking to max out my stuff all all.

you could probably do about 3.4-3.6 GHz without touching voltages. So yeah very doable.

These Xeons are about the same, Mine can do 4200 WITH 1.23V linx/prime stable. try to take it to 4.3-4.4 and see how much vcore you need.

This is one of the BEST 4.40Ghz run I have ever seen with HT enable and only needed 1.32 vcore, very very nice indeed! excellent load temperature as well. I assume this is water cooled?

He using air so it too hot to do any 100% load test at that frequency without proper ambient. Maybe his chip clock same as mine since it from the same batch and probably with the same buggered sensor too.

I picked up a Xeon 3520 3850A823 this week from Buy.com so looks like I got the same batch and week as you hlonipha 3850A823. I'll have to get everything set up and test it out this weekend in my Classified 760. I need to try out my new beast of a power supply Enermax Galaxy EVO 1250W as well that I got earlier this week.

I'm outside of the states. I just mail & phone the shops in my country to confirm the batch. Looks like your neighbour knows every batch in Canada if you are interested.

It low volt but the power draw nearly the same as my first chip that like vcore. I just confirm it by wattmeter when I swap the cpu.
