    Nickel plating EVERYTHING...niceee

After i took some valuable advices and heard the opinions of some of you guys here:

    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=226702

i found a goog workshop and nickel plated all my mobo blocks, 2 ek and my new Heatkiller rev.3.0 They used electroless nickel plating and i paid 20€.

    Here are the results.......:

Of course more photos are on the way... but give some time because my wife will and then
    So just be patient

    Thanks guys

I like nickel and as i heard it works against corrosion. With my ek-4870x2 nickel block theymatch perfect and all that in my cosmos... i like it.
I ask guy in the workshop haw to clean them and he told me to use just water or chemical alcohol. Tommorow ill start the job...

Nice, would really like to do that, but I am not sure if there are any shops in Dallas that do it or what the price would be or I should expect.

Yes i didnt want to change thermal conductivity. I think pure copper has a little bit better conductivity than nickel. But again maybe thats my idea...

you know that the nickel plating only has a thickness of up to 50µm?...

In fact, the TIM youre using conducts heat way worse than this nickel layer..
