    I dont see any aluminum in the HK 3.0... its just copper and stainless steel !!

    Yes thats right!! My miss, i thought it was aluminium! Does it mean that its easier to plate stainless steel or it demands the same procedure as alu?

    There are some ss parts on the upper block that are stuck on it, thats why im asking. Anyway i am seriously thinking of silver plating but im not sure about the effects... although im thinking to use only destilled water after all that i read/see the last few days...

    That stainless steel plate is removable... just grab an optical flat screw driver and carefully lift up even !
