Personally, I feel less is more. Traditional EK logo, no flashy colors or LEDs, derlin and nickel plated! ... either way though Eddy you've developed yet again another magnificent product. My only complaint is I can't buy it right now!

    Eddy,

That simple look is my favorite so far. Clean look for sure, with enough custom touch to show quality. Again my opinion.

eddy, why not have a poll with the designs you have come up with? and let all the XS-ers vote?

Eddy wouldn't it be very cool to put EVGA on the plexi part, but in the EVGA font as well?

Hmm... hope EVGA isn't going to make trouble over that idea

What about the thickness of the whole thing? I can imagine that it might look a bit more elegant if it had less thickness. Just a few mm off the copper, for example. Might also cut expenses a little.
I don't know about minimum required thickness for stability etc. but if it can be done, it might look good.

Awesome block. I think I will keep my air cooling atm and skip the BP/Koolance blocks until this block is released. I dread short, generally useless and aesthetically unpleasant looking loops.

    man that looks great

can you do a render in acrylic top instead of delrin?

What a great way to design a product, get the concept then work with the end users to refine it... Hats off to you eddy

Looks great Eddy. I'm not a huge fan of the X58 on the link piece but I do like the red.

When can I buy a few?

Is there no chance for a clear top version for the full board with the red in the middle. Just I have clear tops for my GTX295 and EK Supreme. Thanks Eddy, Looking great. I like the X58 better than the other text.

just a question for you waterblock manufacturers...

increasing the surface area of the derlin part, of course, more manufacturing time due to more machining process, but adding ridges on the top, would it not help a bit by increase heat transfer by air as well as water?

and the font for the "x58" is a bit too plain...

Delrin doesn't transfer heat very well, I doubt adding ridges would do anything in helping heat transfer by air

You could possibly run into legal issues putting the evga logo on something that isn't made by evga.

EVGA is also currently testing a classified block as well, so as above maybe legal issues.

That looks great, and since its not using EVGAs brand name you might avoid legal trouble.

I think the above would look really good without the EK logo, but from where eddy is sitting he wants it on there somewhere
