Alright overclocking experts...I'm trying to get my system at 8.5x500 FSB with 2.40B RAM multi for 1200 MHZ. After I adjust settings in BIOS (or ET6 after boot), what are the first tests I should run? Prime small, large or blend? Or 32m Pi run? Or memtest from USB key? Also, what failures mean what in specific tests when it happens quickly or after testing a while? I think this info would help everyone out instead of just trying to jump into a Prime blend for 8+ hours. Thanks!!!

Anyone have UD3R on F9 BIOS running 500fsb x 8 or 8.5 with 2.4B mem latch for 2x1GB sticks? I can't get it to post....it tries twice, each with multiples beeps, then resets to default. I was running this setup (500x8 or 525x8) fine before with 2.0B or 2.0D for 1:1 ram with 2x2GB Dominators. But I since bought a Kingston HyperX DDR2-1150 2x1GB kit and want to run 2.4B for 1200mhz. Or am I better off running 450fsb with 2.66D? Any ideas or suggestions?

I just had the most amazingly simple overclock with the ep45ud3p and an e8500. I finished setting up a friends rig and only had a little time left so I bumped the voltage on his 8500 to 3.7 and bumped the fsb to a nice round number and BANG! a stable 4.08ghz right off the bat.
    What a sweet motherboard.

    EDIT Sorry I meant 1.37.

If you set your friends' core voltage to 3.7 volts then it's surprising his CPU didn't go BANG!!!

The best thing to do would be overclock your GTX 280. Use EVGA Precision to do the overclocking and use Furmark to test stability.
