That just means its revision v1.1, which overclocks the same as v1.0, or so I heard.

got her up and running. bios is F8, gonna update it to the latest. also whats the normal operating temps for the P45? ET6 is saying 60C for my NB. i can barely touch the heatsink for more than a second. im going to be putting a fan over it (old 80mm AMD Opty HS fan ) other than that i like this board thus far!

thanks for the input.yea im not looking for easy, but i remembered when the ddr3 UD3P came out and no one could get very high FSB.but maybe the newer bio's helped?all i know is your doing some awesome clocks with yours.the EP45-Extreme looks great too and the price is decent at newegg right now.

Looked at the Extreme board also radaja, was concerned that getting the Ultra120 to fit may be a problem, also the sata ports may get in the way of larger GFX cards.

heres 4.7ghz, its down the thread i bit, some of the voltages r overkill like mch core, and main thing that helps the high fsb for me is the vtt and mch ref u may need for vcore tho wasnt that stable
    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=211385
also if u look through the first 20-40 (i dont really know where it is up its there some where) of this thread i have settings for 4.6ghz that were very stable, it may also help

What do u think about this?

Memories are Elpida Patriot Viper 1200 MHZ and they don't want to run lower PL stable ... or is me that doesn't know what to set up in BIOS. I just wish I had some of those great D9 sticks. But I can't find any here in my country . I'm from Roumania

EDIT: What do u think I could improve on this OC?

Great results ,compatriot din pacate ai dreptate greu de gasit D9GKX la noi in Romania. try raport 1:1 and multiplier 7.5*600=4.5GHZ the performance it's even higher.

I'm done with s775 but I can't help but take peeks in here every now and then and I have to say this; this thread may just about hold the most impressive overclocks on the planet. Says a lot about the mobos the thread is dedicated to, but it also says a lot about the overclocking talent in here. Kudos, guys!! Keep up the good work.

As far as quads go, this thread appears(?) to say more about the P45 chipset and these gigabyte boards.

Can anyone link to a technical description as to why these do so well?

Nice job panging!! What are your MCH/Dram ref,Ch.A and B ref's set to, to get 500fsb? How did you set the clock skew? I needed 1000/1000/0/50 and OC1200. Unsure what long term use at these settings will do to the board, cpu or ram. Was the only way I could get it Prime/LinX stable.
