    When you say "take of that insulation to show just the evap" you mean cut it off with scissors to show this: http://i44.tinypic.com/mhyo42.jpg

    So the sandwich will be made on the base of the evap leaving most of the head exposed? On pic one you can see that the evap is not a tight fit on the plastic head so how should I insulate the tip there?

    in image 2 you have the mount and muff the wrong way round the evap goes like in the image and the foam holds it in place
    you need to slide the insolation back off the evap and suction line slide the evap thru the mount and muff then fit the foam over the evap then slide the evap w/foam in to the muff then it should look like below
    it so easy you wil kick your slef after

    I finally got to mounting it again but I have a quick question:

    There are no springs on the screw kit so how much should one tighten the thumb screws without braking the mobo in half and without leaving a tiny loose space between the evap and the cpu surface?

    you must "feel" pressure
    not too much bcoz high pressure can damage foam around of evap

    yes, always on stock (fits to 775/1366 and am2/am3)
