    Thanks.
it would stay at 75C+ and more for something like ITB test i believe,
i didn't want to run them until i get a better cooling maybe.
VERY nice chip you got there Panging. 4.3ghz-506x8.5@1.25v load.

sorry for the confusion i uploaded more pics please check my post again for my voltage setting for the overclock.

in fact you have a much better chip than mine, my chip needs a lot more vcore and i believe also more CPU VTT than yours.

Can someone help me with these UD3 models?

There are now 8 of them on Newegg.

I just want the one tat has full feature overclocking and no other bells and whistles.

It's not like me to ask questions of this nature but ive been looking for over an hour and I still cant' sort them all out.

    Thanks.

Does SetFSB work with the EP45-UD3P and if so which clock generator should I use?

Also do the new BIOS revisions help with high(520+) quadcore FSB at all?

Seems better than F7 & F8. But what do I know! I'm still trying to get 8.5x500 FSB w/1200-1225 RAM. I'llbe replacing my RAM and HD this weekend along with the fan on my Zerotherm FZ120 and adding some AS5 paste. Then I'll start tweaking

@Leeghoofd: I'm eatin' my nuts on the dividers with my crucials mate !!

    Even reached 1800 (cas10 lol) @450FSB and 2,18 vDimm (with the F6 bios and a E8600)
I'm following your I4 datasheet and improving it a bit than I'll post my results here when it'll be ready.

What I can say ATMO is that the dividers and the FSB don't react simply ^^ ...what's passed @400 or 450 isn't @425 :/

i saw your 500x8.5 you have a very nice oc as well. and if i could i would prefer to have your chip.

i can get up to 4.4GHz but at the end i will probably end up using 4.2-4.3GHz max.
it's getting real hot when prime95 was going, and if i go to a little more then 4.4GHz and at 1.55v vcore it sometimes went up to the high 80c's.

this's the lowest vcore i could use for 4.4GHz

But why use clockgen if I can use ET6?
There really isn't too much of a reason. I prefer setFSB over ET6 because of much faster load times which make it better for getting the last few MHz before a Pi run.

    Thanks for the info LSDMe.
