Alright so I have been unable to find an answer to this question. What would be a good heatsink that is going to fit on this board. I don't mind it being big and heavy (I'll just make a bracket for it) but I do want it to be quiet. I have been looking at a Scythe Infinity SCINF-1000. Would that be fairly good. If a heatsink fits on a am2 it should fit an am3 right?

Yes, any am2 HS would fit on this board. IMO, If you want somthing quiet and good performance, then this would be the answer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835608002

One thing you need to watch out is the way the HS sits on AMD platform is vertical. So most the HS would be hanging over your first two memory slots(blue). For that reason dont get 4 sticks of ram with high clearance on them. you can only use two high clearance memory sticks and put on the right slots(white) but not on the blue slots.
