I am considering using the Cuplex Di instead of the HD. I think it looks better with the blue top.

    The HD....

    The Di......

I doubt there will be much of a performance hit. I was very cool at 4.4 with the Di before I started the madness.
    LMK what you think.

Both tops look great Rocky. I like the way the "HD" has the black and silver to fit in with the MB theme. But the "DI" is damn sexy. Either way you win.

Thanks for the input and the kudos!
Rodney, thanks for the compliment regarding the pics. I am trying!
    Now for the latest..........

I think it best to stick with the HD.......

The Di was a little distracting......

I can't resist the aerial views......

    Last one........

I am much happier with the wiring and I like the blue. It's too bad the sleeving is not a little darker. Overall I like this one a lot better than the first attempt.
    LMK what you think!

Think you made a good call to stick with the HD.

I definitely like this version better than the first. I actually think the blue sleeving and tubing look fine together ... and you'll see a bit more contrast when you have everything buttoned up, but it will still blend nicely.

Have you fired up those 285s yet?

    Thanks Shazza!
I am very happy with it and especially the wiring after changing PSU's. The Zeus had those interconnected VC cables that are really nasty to deal with.
I did fire up the 285's and I was a bit surprised. I ordered the 285 FTW's while drinking, the only way I could talk myself in to it, and they did not disappoint! I still have many things to do but I should be gaming by Sunday.

Rocky this is a stellar build and I can't wait to see what you do with your Opty server.

Many thanks John! I truly appreciate the compliment.
It may turn into a Xenon server. I can tell you this, it will be different.

Well, before I took it apart, 65-66C @ 4.4 under full load. That was with small AC tubing and a 120.3 Rad. I am looking forward to the new results.

Let's hope that BA's wife is not a member, not to mention his girlfriend!
BTW, my wife has asked me to get a deeper blue sleeving color. I think she is a member.

Hmmmnnn ... is she going to do the re-sleeving

I still dunno. I'd probably try the primochill tubing first - but then I know it's not easy to squeeze those barbs into the 3/8" tubing.

Toasting y'all with a nice Sanford Chardonnay (gotta be clear-headed tomorrow for cable tucking, so no Scotch for me).

    Shazza,
You cannot possibly sleeve with Chardonnay, Scotch is a must! Especially, for you, Johnnie Walker distills Red, Green, Gold, Black and of course Blue! Most of these colors are in your build! Gotch Ya!

Enjoy it John! LMK what you think about it.

And now for something completely different, a man with three.......
Just kidding and showing my age!
OK, the leak test is ongoing after the burning finger with the boiling H20 and tubing treatment. And no Shazza, I am not switching to Primochill and my wife will not redo the sleeving either!
Without further adieu the latest pics.

Now I understand what high-flow means.........

I have a little more air in the system this time around......

Lastly, the artistic shot and my favorite.......

It has been cold and rainy today and the tubing was an unusually difficult to get on. I burned the absolute out of two of my fingers! I prescribed a glass of scotch on the rocks to help my fingers cool down. I am not sure if the cold glass will help my fingers but my brain feels better.
All that is left is a few wires to sleeve on the 24 pin and I will be good to go. I will be up and running tomorrow afternoon. In the words of Yogi Berra, "It's Deja Vue all over again."

I use an Aquaero to control all of my fans and for the temp sensors. Thanks for the kudos!
