I'm kinda surprised that you can't enter the bios with USB keyboard. It worked fine with my IP35 Pro, still running bios 14. You have to make sure to set USB keyboard support to "BIOS" instead of "OS". I believe it is under "Integrated Peripherals" .
BIOS 16 or 17 broke it, even with the correct settings.
