You can use 2:40B strap as long as your Vmch in bios is around 1.40v. You can change that thru ET6 later if needed.

So try to boot 1066 with 2:40b strap and low Vmch then report back.
Thanks tons for the info Jor3IBR! For me this is a no-go. At 470x9 I can not boot at 2.40B/1128mhz regardless of the MCH. I have tried 1.32 up to 1.42 and all of them result in no boot. However, I can boot at 2.50A/1175mhz which is a faster ram speed. I have not fine tuned or stability test the 1175mhz. I can boot at turbo but not extreme so far.

I figured I might as well make sure these settings are solid so I ran this 10 hour pass today. Those are my full settings for that run. 434 is the highest I have been able boot on 2.40B so I tried playing with the NB voltage to see if it would help. I tried from 1.3 to 1.44 but it didnt make a difference for me.

Thanks for those settings! They should help me a bunch even though I think I am going to stick with 470x9 for now. I can still use the VTT/MCH and references for those, since my chip is not quite as good as yours what you have stable at 480 might be perfect for me at 470 with a bit more VCORE.

I do not understand the RAM settings completely yet. I have noticed that at standard and turbo, CPUZ reports a higher timing then what I have set in bios, does the extreme setting actually report the correct timing? Also what does "Driving strength profile" mean and do, if I am running 1100-1200 mhz should I be using the 1200mhz profile? Also since I am used to PL and Clock Twisters I am not sure what "Static T-read" value is, is it the same as the Performance Level setting on the P5Q? Thanks for the help, as soon as I start to relate the RAM settings to what I am use to I should be on my way to ~4.2ghz stable.

ALL you guys rock! Extremesystems is the shizznit!
