    you do know you can choose which sound card to use in the control panel (on XP 32 and x64), right?
    you don't need to reinstall drivers.

    I have my Xonar D2X and X-fi XtremeMusic in my PC at the same time (under XP x64)
    I use the X-fi to play games, and the D2X for everything else.
