Just make sure you flash the right bios for your board. The 'P'and the 'R' have different versions

I run Orthos Blend for 5+ hours @ 8x525 FSB with RAM 1:1 and now I am getting random BSOD's on startup in the morning after I shut down for the night. Some days fine, other days BSOD. Any suggestions? I was think of upping PLL from 1.5 to 1.57v, VTT from 1.26 to 1.28-1.3v, and setting mch to get .68-.66 in ET6. Also, what's the best test #'s in MemTest to run and for how many passes? Thanks.

From my point of view, this Beta bios shouldn't have left the alpha stage... totally messed up again like F2... F5 remains the best bios for the EP45T and my CPU's/RAM combo...

Better NOT give it a try...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

    bluestang, nice result!
try to get Linpack stable and i am sure that you don't get BSOD anymore.
*maybe you will need little bit more Vcore for Linpack stable
and raise PLL to 1.56V and VTT to 1.30V, that's may help you get more stable.

bluestang, first try setting vtt to 1.28 and vmch to 1.36-1.38, and leave mch ref at 0.70.if that dont work try messing with cpu ref from 0.74-0.80.good luck

For the UD3P, is F7a the best BIOS for 45nm quads? I heard F8a wasn't too hot.

Anyone else get bad freezing instead of just the normal prime failing? Prime never fails, the board just hangs. While I have enjoyed learning this motherboard it may be the fist piece of hardware I intentionally do physical damage to.

    i've got a question

What options are out there to lower the NB temps?

I wasn't really that happy with the nb temps before i started overclocking and now its hotter than i would like it to be.

any universal waterblocks fit? what about popping off the gigabyte "plate" to let more air flow?

Oh an why doesnt the board seem to have a nb temp sensor in HWmonitor or speedfan
