One of the owners of the company is having some health issues which is the cause for the delay. Don't know anything about schedules for deliveries though.

I got an email from Steve today. He is very quick with the responses if you have any questions.

Many thanks for your email and your concern.

We are still producing the Thermochill radiators and we are working on a new design for the PA series along with a PA120.4 model. We are also in the process of testing proto types for a series of 140mm radiators, now that 140mm fans are available.
Maybe the reason things have gone a bit quiet during the start of this year is that I had to go into hospital after a mild heart attack. This has slowed things down quite a bit because it has been up to me to decide what we do with the development of the next generation of radiators. We have been considering altering the spacing of the fans etc to bring them in line with the other manufacturers.

We have decided to produce some of the PA series to get some stock out there but intent to make these changes so that we can make our radiators even better.

    Kind regards

thanks for the replies, its a shame to hear about the mild heart attack and wish him the best in recovery....i cant wiat for the new radiators.

as for ordering from america....they are almost twice the price of what we have over here, and with the postage/shipping ontop, that will b very pricey so it looks like ill just have to wait......mind you im waiting for my pannels to come back from the water-jet cutter and then they need to be powdercoated, so hopefully by the time they are all back the radiators should be back in stock

    many thanks guys!

Do they really think 140mm version will sell well? 140mm means it rad will no longer fit the front bays, rad box any incompatible with many cases.

I agree. I don't know how well the HWLabs 140mm rads are selling but I can't imagine there is a huge market for them. I think Thermochill is mainly trying to get the 120.4 released and make a major decision on whether to change fan spacing to the standard.

I think they should keep the thread and spacing. If they change them, I would just buy a fesser for cheaper.

You have no idea how many HWlabs rads sell.

Hmmnnn ... I'd definitely like to see their 140 mm offering. Several of the newer case designs have space for a 140 rad, as they come stock with 140 fans - and from what I've seen, they are nice and quiet.

And, it would be nice to have common spacing and fittings. Also good to hear they are coming out with a 120.4.

While 140mm and 120.4 rads sound interesting, you gotta admit that the reason they are slow to get out on the market is probably because they don't perform as well they'd like them to (just yet). Hence, the delay complicated by the health issues.

Also, I have a suspicion that non-standard fan spacing on PAs contributes to their performance - after all, they are slightly bigger than other standard-sized rads

I wish that HWlabs would make a low FPI rad, it would be my rad of choice no doubt. Their quality is second to none. Thermochill rads are a bit sturdier with the steel sides but they definitely aren't finished as well.

The GTX series are the antithesis of LC for me; I watercool for silence and the GTX's stink with low RPM fans compared to their low FPI brethren.

Amen to all that! I long to own a HWlabs GTX for the superior quality and finish, but i know that i won't be able to stand the noise of high-speed fans.

They'd better not change the spacing. I just bought a Mountain Mods case with TC spacing! I'd be interested to know when these improved PAs will be around and if they'll be in the same form factor as the original PA.

casue the feser ones are slightly thicker than the thermochill radiators, and if i was to go with feser id need to drop a row of fans to fit them in...thanks for the idea tho.

anyhow my thermochill 120.3 arrived thismorming!

lennox, I sincerely thank you for posting that.

@ Steve, If you read this, please get well and take better care of yourself. Maybe you should also think about getting someone to help with the "executive decisions" to help reduce the stress load and they can step in should some thing like this happen again, so production isn't effected. After all, if the next health issue doesn't kill you...the angry mob waiting for product just might.
