Solved all my problems with a fresh install of vista x64 and removing my adaptec controller , no laggin and default memory lowgap with GTX 280 in sli. Running some stability test now...linx, 3dm06, vantage and FSX.
Seems that 01/14 bios overvolts a little, bios 1,375 and cpuz reads 1,392...
I'll post my template soon if my current setup seems stable

EDIT: BTW, ABS is show me that the abs setting loaded in Bios is 112 version. But the ABS profile that i have load is 114...In Bios i see the 114 version loaded in Bank 4.
not sure on difference, as i don't use ABS much at all. If auto-upgrade worked for you then use that method.

    MIPS has them already.
    Also Anfi-Tec has them.

Looks like my 940 really had it coming... like I said, I couldn't even get 1600Mhz memspeed to run stable, so I knew there was something wrong with its IMC. This morning I turn on the monitor only to find the rig has halted with a BSOD -.-
So I hit reset, but it won't load windows any more. I go check the bios and notice that only 4GB of memory are being recognized. Did CMOS clear, swapped ramslots, flashed to new 114 official bios, all to no avail. One memory channel dead

Put in a 920 and voila, back to Tri Channel. Oh well, time for a RMA. I ran 1,7V on the Vdimm for 24/7 so I don't suppose that's what killed it. Obviously high temp can also be ruled out

Since I got that CPU new and sealed from my retailer, I figure it was just shipped with an already half-dead IMC - like I said, it could never even pass linX at 1600Mhz ramspeed

First obersavtions about 114 bios regarding memory clocking: it likes 10x and hates 12x ram mult...

Damn ... I think I have another strange voltage problem on my new board...
If i measure with my multimeter the Cpu Vtt voltage the value is around 0.05v less than i set in Bios. For example: the stock value is 1.21v, but my measure show only 1.15v. Itīs very strange, because all other voltages measured are absolutely perfect.
The Cpu Vtt is a delicate value, because we must always monitor their exact distance to Vdimm...

Crap.. if it truly undervolts VTT by 0,05V then that could have killed my 940 :/
    Gotta measure for myself tomorrow.

Exactly, if you have too this issue maybe this is the culprit.
Im using now the "Cpu Vtt special add" to correct the problem.

Interesting looks like time for me to measure with DMM some volts.

It was in pci-e #3, i hoped to have some space between the two GTX 280's...I'd try PCI-E #4 as you suggest but another fresh install of vista x64 take sooo long...but i'd have to, cause i really don't know if the cause was the os or the adaptec card..
the question is that now the board seems very solid, i've passed all the minimum stability tests i wanted without a lockup. I'll try later to lower vcore as the temps seems a little bit high for me.

ok, i'm running now raid 0 on ichr and i don't think it's gonna be compatible with the adaptec card, so i'll try with a single drive attached tomorrow just to be certain

Interestingly, this is exactly the same stable value that i have now for Cpu Vtt: 1.31v in Bios, 1.29v in SG, 1.30 idle in multimeter. But to get those measures i have to add this:
    CPU VTT Special Add: +0.0375v
    CPU VTT Voltage: 1.31v
    VTT PWM Switch Frequency: Nominal
VTT PWM Phase Control: 2 Phase Operation

You sure it's that low ? maybe psu related as my CPU VTT under reports by 1/10th of what yours does ~0.005v under volts under load.

Did my own tests, PSU = HX1000

    1. Vcore over reports slightly in VDROOP Enabled mode, but severely over reports with VDROOP Disabled i.e. 1.23v bios/SG reported = 1.206/1.203v idle/load DMM measured!
    2. VDIMM over reports by 0.05v
    3. CPU VTT undervolts by 0.012v to 0.014v at idle but jumps 0.009v higher under windows load but still is 0.005v under volted under load compared to what is set in bios. Note: for the requirements for VDIMM to be within 0.5v of Uncore (CPU VTT), it didn't change if you look at under load voltages. Bios reports 1.66v vdimm and 1.21v CPU VTT = 0.45v difference. DMM Measured 1.655v vdimm and 1.205v for CPU VTT = 0.45v difference under load or 0.459v difference at idle.

    no need to quote images

for 24/7 i like to keep vdroop enabled to intel specs but for pi/3d benching at max clocks i use vdroop disabled

See my sig, eva. Same PSU. My first UT board, with the bad sensor problem, like Nemesisīs board, was a perfection in all real voltages.

Your AUTO setting add 0v. Your board is as good as the eva2000, at least in relation to the Vtt voltage.
