Using 333/2:40b strap if I boot with NORMAL on MCH volts it will get in Windows with 1.1vmch and if I try to raise to 1.5vmch on ET6 = Instant OS Freeze. Again if I raise in increments to 1.440vmch everything will go fine but after that freeze in OS or no boot in DOS

If I boot on AUTO (Mch core) it will double boot and restore defaults, probably because it's trying to set it above 1.440mch.

Funny thing is nobody on Gigabyte seams to have an answer for this.

Oh before I forget I have 2 boards and tried this on like 4 boards. Versions 1.0rev and 1.1rev.

I will try 1Gb sticks and see.
You're welcome and thanks for the info.

i personally never think these UD3P/R boards overvolt the vdimm settings so i never checked it with a DMM, but this mostly because one of my friend has already checked it and told me back when we first got our first boards.

as for vdimm voltage that are reported by software, which i use Everest's or ET6's HW monitor,
one of my UD3R has, for example, if i set vdimm 2.28V at bios i will see during idle in Windows 2.26xxV,
but my another UD3R will be 2.30V in Windows. and since i believe the boards don't overvolt the vdimm settings i really don't concern much on the real vdimm voltage value.

anyways, i'm still interested to know about the G.Skill 9600 PI kit under this UD3P or R board,
can you please check and see if you can overclock this ram kit to DDR1200 and using its rated voltage spec (or lower) and if possible, please try it all, at 375fsb, 400fsb, 450fsb and 480fsb?
