    Hey everyone!

    Just received my new Q9550 E0 chip 2 days ago to replace my Q6600, as it would not allow me to come near the magical 4Ghz border which I wanted to cross as part of my New Year's resolutions... Luckily, I seem to have a decent combo with my rampaged P5E dlx and Q9550, as crossing the 471fsb for 4Ghz was quite painless:

    Stepping: L830B496, VID of 1.25V

    The settings used are basically:
    vCore = 1.368v
    FSB vtt= 1.36v
    vNB = 1.59v
    vDimm = 2.06v (bios), 2.10v (real)

    Strangely enough, it only needed 1.29vCore for 3.9Ghz, so I was quite surprised how much extra vCore it needed for a mere 100Mhz increase? I also needed to up the NB from 1.5v to 1.59v for the 4Ghz...

    Also, I was wondering if there's anything wrong with my core temperatures, bearing in mind I'm under a dedicated waterloop with 3 radiators (water temp ranges from 33C to 37C). I've been searching a lot on what kind of temps people are getting, and these seem comparable to people on air so I'm not sure if my cooler is mounted right. The thing is that a lot of people still seem to be using the tjmax of 95C, leading to their temps being displayed as 5C lower.

    Crossing 480fsb has proven more difficult, and while posting at 500fsb, it will not boot Vista, so I was just wondering what kind of results people have been getting with x48 chipset and E0 q9550, using what voltages? My aim now is to reach 500 fsb so I can run my ram 1:1 close to its rated speed of 533 at their tightest timings...
