Quick question about page files in Vista 64. I got 4gb of RAM so I assumed I can cancel all page files, but some websites recommend leaving them no matter what and others opposite(hehe as always).
How are you doing it ppl - I am new to vista...

Then I leave UAC turned on but adjust the admin account to elevate without promting, so you dont get the anoying popups all the time but retain the security.
It will also allow programs to auto start without promting, so stuff like Everest will auto load without permission.
You can also turn on the secret admin account wich is better than the default admin account which is limited.
Onced tweaked properly Vista is really a decent OS, plus the eye candy is nice
