I had posted this on the i7 o/c thread - better to post it here. The GGBT x58 extreme mobo plays well with the highpoint 3520 pcie raid card with 8x16GB mtron SSDs -

For comparisons sake .. RR3510 (4 drive vs the 3520 8 drive) - WD 640GB
