I see the sickness is starting to get stronger...

It was around the two month mark when I went ape crazy and jumped to 20k PPD.

Well the sickness has taken hold of me!!! There is no escape.

I'm currently using my tax refund that I was saving for i7 to build some budget crunchers. (i7 needs to mature a bit as I think it is a little expensive atm and I want to get the best oc to price performance).

So far I have 4 x Q6600s on the way with 4 mobos all 2nd hand. So I'll have to look at making a rack for them to put them in the garage!

I've been offered a 5th Q6600 that OCs well but not sure I need it!

Have you calculated how much extra cooling and wattage will be needed to overclock your computer to squeeze that last BOINC point out of it? These are only a few of the tale tell signs that you do in fact have the addiction and you will do what ever is necessary to feed the hunger that is XSDC.

I've even allowed budget to WC two of the four crunchers with a PA120.3 i have and an MCR320 and two CPU blocks will that be enough? Hopefully I can squeeze a third block into the loop.

I have even justified it to myself that my current rig is more than adequate for all my gaming needs and as cancer has touched my family and friends many times I can easily go without some things to do my bit!

Thanks skinnee, but it is the other guys that recently started that deserve our praise. The first points are always the hardest and after a while (thank God for cold weather, I can help heat the house and do Cancer research without the wifey complaining about the electric bill ) they just start adding up.
