What I find fascinating is that Mighty Intel feels threatened by piss-ant AMD. As many have observed here at XS, no cpu-z, wprime, etc. screenshots were permitted at the AMD demo. We only have word-of-mouth on PII 940 results. Yet, Intel feels threatened.

I think Intel feels there is a real chance of a repeat of the ATI/Nvidia debacle that occurred with the release of the 48xx line of video cards. No doubt in my mind that Intel is going to revise i7 pricing down in December to counter aggressive pricing by AMD. This is great news for all enthusiasts!
