    Why is the EP45-UD3R at F5 and the UD3P at F7 ?

They are pretty much identical, or are they crippling the UD3R?

    Thanks!
Uh I found that it is not a myth ... my Reapers would not work in Dual-Channel. They would only work in single channel mode. At first, when I tried booting ... I thought the board was no good because I had just used those Reapers ... but it is this board and those OCZ PC2 8500 Reapers. Almost RMA'd my RAM as well ...

I havent been able to get mine to work, but if you check back a few pages, there was a post from someone who got them to hold hands in dual channel mode.

Im still trying to decide on a pair of new ram for this board.

they do work ... i try using 1066 ... but need to install with 1 ram ... go in Bios ... set timing and voltage ... then you can boot with 2 ram into window .. after that start tweaking ... i notiice that need to run 333 trap and 2.0 divider to start... but if use 800 .. might need to start with 266 ... good luck

yea im a little weary of its performance..because boards that run both ddr2 and ddr3 usually do a crappy job with both so we will have to see if some one does a review on it...but every one knows i7 is the cool thing to review now...so were see

I hope everyone's been checking the New DDR2 Speed Records being set with these new UD3 boards.

It would be sweet if they had an "Air Only" catigory for those of us who don't use LN2 or Dice...
But still want to burn up some ram...

Now it seems that Air is the Extreme because lots of people are able to use Monster Cooling...

First release of EP45-UD3R is F3 and EP45-UD3P is F4,right.
As UD3P is top model, normally all testing and release first is for this board.
    Somebody want to try UD3P-F6

Try lower MCH Ref to 0.70 will help you get more stable.
