My TRUE only makes contact in the middle as well, but my temps aren't nearly as bad as those.

My question was more like... "Is the i7 hotter than my Kentsfield?"

cause we're both using the same volts (1.408) and the temps here are pretty high (28ēC)... I get 35 idle and 66 full... My temps only go over 70 when my room is above 30ēC

sorry for running out of topic, I'm just really curious as to how hot is the i7
