yes, it's the lowest memory speed, which brings up a question i had. i thought in general, p45's were not that great at 1:1, but it seems mine is the most stable at this divider. i can run them at fsb 333mhz or 400mhz on 1:1 just fine, but when i run at fsb 333 with the divider 5:6, i get instability in orthos really quick. what settings do i need to change?
Are you guys using the included creativ sound card and how good is the audio for music and video playback?

Compared to onboard realtek chips, the soundcard is a real mess. there is a test on the internet with graphics showing the noise ratio level and other stuff..
i simply just can't understand why asus uses this mess on one of there "best" boards. the realtek drivers are also much better than those from this soundmax...
You're meaning that's not an improvement of the bundle so ?
I can't give some more détails about it : cus' I haven't plugged it yet...since august xD (don't need sound for benchin' at all)

It will lower your ram overclock if you are using a higher divider like 4:5 now.
I'm not talking about the strap, i said the ram speed is 2x the FSB when on 1:1 divider, meaning if you are on 445 FSB, 1:1 will set your ram to DDR2 - 890 MHz, i you're on 500 FSB, the ram would be on DDR2 - 1000 MHz.

Nice result there gays!
I have played with my Dominator V1.1 and tryed to hit 600MHz but that is impossible. I also tryed to do 4-4-4-12 at 500MHz but no success there too. Are there any key because I have read a number of reviews regarding these memorys and all of them could do 500MHz, 4-4-4-12 2,1-2,2V. I use 1.4V on NB.
I have a nice 500x9 24/7 clock but I am not happy over my memory speed so far!
Any advice?

its wierd that you cant do 1200mhz with your dominators, mine do it @ 2.3v pretty easily, although my system is pretty unstable as a whole when i run a 5:6 divider so i like to keep mine 1:1... theres really not that big of a performance difference... pics
1:1 ratio @ 533x8
and now the 5:6 @ 500x8
as you can see i get better write/copy speeds @ 1:1 with only a 300mb difference from running @ 1200mhz, timings on both are 5-5-5-15-2T as you can see, so im stickin with 1:1 until the stability fairy comes and taps my comp with his wand.

If you can, run a SPI 32M run at each setting and you will see the difference. 533 is a very high FSB for 24/7 use though. Very nice clocking e8400 too.

Ok, guys!
I have not tryed higher voltage than 2.21V (in bios) so maybe I can bump up little more even if that are risky for 24/7! I will also give the blue slots a chance...
Maybe my trfc and performance lever was to tight as well...
It is not possible to change tref in bios, right?

Any advice for getting better RAM speeds
Currently FSB 450MHz, Strap 333MHz, DDR2-1081.
Tried increasing to strap 266MHz, DDR2-1128 - failed OCCT in seconds
Tried changing DRAM skew to advance 150ps - as above
Tried changing DRAM skew to advance 300ps - didn't even boot into windows.
Back on DDR2-1081 tried to inc twister from mod to strong - again OCCT failed in seconds.
If on moderate then OCCT RAM goes for 15hours.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Andy

To run twister on strong or higher you will require alittle more NB juice then your 1.29volts
If your booting on the 266 strap try upping your NB volts to around 1.35 or slightly higher.
I require 1.39vNB for 1130MHz running 471x8.5 on 333 strap
