Two different Supreme blocks, two different GTZ blocks. There's also plenty of testing error to make it pretty much hard to say anything conclusive.

Anyhow, if I could emphasize one thing it would be don't trust the results anymore than about 2 degrees. The ups and downs in the mounts is a good indication just how much error there is.

75 mounts later was a painful lesson in reality that testing CPU blocks is really difficult to produce anything very conclusive using the processor DTS sensor.

And yes, my processor was lapped, a differently shaped IHS very well could produce a different result. At the same token no two IHS are shaped the same so you could again get two different results from two stock IHS processor.

It sucks, but it is what it is....not very precise.

It was a good learning experience though, hope it helps some....
