Yes even with the SP1 disc, Vista happily downloads so much garbage. Ugh that is the most annoying part of a new pc.

Hey I remember one of my dumb moments. I attached my fans to the front panel and then realised that I should have attached the rad first. So on goes the rad and the fans were then attached but then the rad couldn't fit through the space. So I had to attach everything pretty much in the case which took me a lot more time, not to mention all the time wasted.

    =D

    Well, you asked for it!

But i won't pretend that i don't enjoy the attention either...

These pics are 1000 times better, i used a pseudo-tripod (box on top of chair) for all the shots. As you can see they come out nice and sharp.

I actually took about 20 nice ones, then went to re-size them and lost a lot of detail in the process. They turned out looking like those disgusting JPEGs you see sometimes in 16bit color...

Being pretty upset, i ripped the sides off the case and took another 20 shots, but these ones are even better than the previous set!

I also managed to find some drivers for my 32bit Netgear wireless card to work on Vista x64, so i'm typing this on the new rig as we speak!

Oh, i'll get to overclocking soon. But at 3.33GHz stock, who can complain!? 10x multi...... FTW!

P.S. The exam went great today. The questions were very similar to the sample exams provided for study, it happens that way every year!

    1 down, 3 to go...

Great pictures Twwen! I really like how the pictures capture the vibrant color of the orange fans.

Why didn't you use orange tubing on the inside? Good to hear your test went well. I'm sure we can all agree to spending a little too much time with our hobby once and a while.

Oh and from memory I think Twwen said the Feser orange tubing was too stiff for the tiny amount of room in that case.

    Thanks BA!
Momo is right, the feser tubing is way too stiff. Doesn't bend enough. Pro-LRT FTW!

Great Work Twwen2! Amazing finish! What are your temps like @ stock? Can't wait till you stretch this babies legs to 4GHz! I'm thinking with my TJ-07 build coming up, i'll either have it powder coated or just do it myself with some spray cans... I'm still undecided but i'll most likely attempt it myself!

Again, great work! Now relax and spend some time with your new little bundle of joy!

... don't mention exams.. makes me feel sick!

I guess as an aircooling guy I shouldn't be in here but had to comment on your superb build, and photos. Awesome job!
I was considering the Silverstone SG01-B, and an NZXT Rogue case as well, before I bought the Mini P180.
Didn't even think to look at the Lian-Li V-350B. Wish I had

Well at stock (3.33GHz and VID=1.05V), idle temps were 24 deg C and load was 29. Not bad eh?
At 4.18GHz and 1.25V, idle was 27 and load was 42.
Now i'm sitting at 4GHz, and idle is 26 with load reaching 39. Oh and GPU idles at 33, NB at 38.
    Can't really complain about that!

Me too. I've got one side of the case off, i'm enjoying the view. After exams i'll hunt around for someone to cut me a window or two.

It's bolted to the side of my desk, directly below the case. There was a few pics a few pages back.

Oh very nice! especially since it was particularly warm down here and your temps were still nice! Mine was idling at mid 40's in my hot pit of a room! (37 ambient )

Great Job! I gotta see it for real after exams are done and dusted!
Also, good to see you're looking into a window (pun intended) It will really make it that much sweeter!
    Great work

Yeah trueeee... i guess if the the box is all closed up cable management isnt a must...

The way i did it requires cutting the case so i don't think you would want to do that anyways seeing how it's completed LoL...

    nICE Build mate enjoy it!
