I'll have to buy water cooling if want 3.0ghz on 64 bit.
The best I could get with my 9850 was 2.95GHz stable and some runs at 3.0GHz under Vista 64bit and that was @1.55v with water cooling

With 32bit OS's I could get up to 3.255GHz stable

The red circle in AOD is CPU Tweak
I found it best to keep it enabled for overclocking

You probably better off to disable ACC
If you can get past a 300MHz overclock you probably don't need ACC

what was you highest temperature ?

    I topped out at 56C on 1.5625

core damage heats the CPU the best.

My idle temp was low 50's
under load it would jump 10 to 12 degrees
Thanks to the cr@p rad I have, another thing I have to replace

AMDDeathstar, you've had better results with CPU Tweak on? Just wondering as I always run it off.

the time that I ran 1.63v my idle temps were about 40-41ºc, load was about 53ºc with my 9950 at 3.45 GHz or 3.5 GHz can't remember.

I leave CPU Tweak enable for two reasons
    it helps stablize maximum overclocks
and it gives cores about a 4-5% performance boost but scaling takes a hit
to see what I mean run Cinebench10
with CPU Tweak enabled your overall scores will go up but scaling will go from 3.7+ down to 3.56
I get faster times with CPU tweak enable in SuperPi

I think I am going to try it out and see what it can do. Thanks. I'll post feedback later.

Put on the water today and ouala
    21.735 in Superpi in 3.555mhz

After many tries, I still can't find what's wrong and I get sudden reboots.
I tried vcore at 1,55 and I get an overvoltage error at post, and at windows my vcore gets back to 1,45.Max vcore I can set is 1.5.
I tried increasing the DDR Voltage, no luck.Increased NB voltage also nothing.
    Decreased HT speed, no difference.
Cputweak is OFF and ACC at +4.

    Any ideas??

The button in the top right corner of AOD, is this the 'tweak" you are speaking of. If so, did they change what it does?.. I am just posting as a uninformed person, so bare with me. I thought this was an L3 enhancement. Like back in the my 9600be days, green was TLB on, yellow was off, and red was performance.... Like it only changed the L3 paramiters..is this not the case..?

I found this on a website..
"We asked AMD what the different settings on the turbo button do and we were informed the following.Green = safeYellow = fasterRed = fastest"

With the xx50 chips AOD button has green CPU Tweak disabled or green with red circle CPU Tweak enabled

CPU Tweak to my understanding changes cache management

when the Phenom is idling it will power down caches
that's why you take a performance hit going from idle to load because it's ramping up

with CPU Tweak enable it keeps the caches powered up all the time
you get better perfomance but the chip runs hotter

When I try to run at the higher end my overclocks without CPU tweak most of time I"ll lockup or reboot when I start to put a load on the CPU

If run CPU tweak I rarely lock up

cpu tweak use make my temperature jump 12C....

now it's about 6-7C jump. Load was only 1C higher though. 52C.

I've been reading my logging on core temp highest I've high I got was 51C.

Well I tried CPU Tweak and here were the results.

Wll I tried this, but my pc doesn't even boot to windows with anything except ACC +4.
So, I think it's somewhere else the problem..
Maybe I have to raise more Vcore. But how I override overvoltage error?I get this everytime I put at BIOS a vcore above 1,53.Then the system gives a vcore of 1,45.How you put vcore likes 1,6 etc??

Also, any proposals for more stability??

wierd dude, It is normal to get the error going above 1.55v in my case, but you can press f1 and continute. I have ran up to 1.63v in windows.

Normal You will have to F1 at every Boot above1.5v/1.55v...ASUS need sto get rid of that feature....It really is useless...

This is a Overclockers Mobo and they want to tell us when were giving too much Volts ...Oh Some one smack Oc sense into ASUS for me

Ok done it and managed to put more vcore.
But definetely VCORE doesn't help in my case.
I wanted to add 2 fsb (232->234) where at 232 I can run spi with 1,5 vcore and even if I give 1.65 my pc keeps rebooting.
So, what other issues should I check??

    DDR VOLTAGE:1.9
NB VOLTAGE: 1.160 (TRIED UNTIL 1.3)

I used my previous M3A32 on my x2 6000+. Still that board was a good improvement over and older Gigabyte that I had, and to think the the M3A79-T an ever bigger improvement

You might want to look at RAM timings. I would start with 5-5-5-18 and change the tRFC 127 ns for all settings.
