A X2 card can't really be called a single card seeing as it is still running in crossifre or SLI mode.

Far from being an Nvidia fan, I still dont consider the GTX 200's to be a let down. ATI maybe the better buy right now, but that doesnt make the Nvidia cards bad.

As I was an AMD fan for years, I am still disappointed by their CPUs.
Phenom the series was released last year, late november If my memory serves me correctly.

The nvidia cards where a let down to me after seeing how much of an improvement their past 3 generations where over the last ones. My biggest disappoint ever was probably the HD 2000 line, they pretty much pulled a geforce 5.
