Now it is getting to where if I shut it down and turn OFF my PSU, then come back later and turn it on, I get nothing but a black screen, then if I hit the reset button a few times it will eventually begin to post, however, I then get a Boot Failure, Press F1 or F2, so I have to do that, reset the BIOS, then reboot again.

I suppose I could just leave it ON all the time, but this is annoying and I hope there is some logical explanation for it that I can fix.
i cant believe you have bben posting this to some of xtremes finest without them picking this up and seeing what it is,

you are never gonna believe the solution to this, think about it.........

wont hold boot information in bios,

when going from cold boot, computer needs to be restarted several times before boot option to bios.

    mmmmmmmmmm......... any takers yet?

ok ill carry on, with some more clues........

    ok i wont,

    heres the solution,

BUY ANOTHER CMOS BATTERY, JUST BECAUSE THE BOARD IS NEW DOESNT MEAN THE BATTERY IS !!!!!!!!!!

YOU HAVE A DUFF BATTERY IN THERE, I DONT KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE SEEN THIS,

ALLWAYS THE SAME, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS BOARD ROUTINE?

yeah not the board, its the cmos battery, go get another, or try one from another mobo

Wow!! that does make complete sense! And I will definately give it a try.

Come to think of it... my clock has been messed up since day 1. I keep having to set the time and I figured I would need a new battery but did not put two and two together that it could be the cause of the other problem.

Now I have to find a place to buy one.. I live out in the middle of no where.

OK, now to my next question........

One guy on another forum told me that it was probably the PSU.

My PSU is a brand new PC Power and Cooling 750w Silencer. So... with my setup, should it be sufficient?

Well, I am sad to say that the new battery didn't solve the problem.

I went to Walmart (30 miles away) lol, and bought a NEW Duracell and plopped it in, started up, same thing.... turned it off, reset bios, started it up... same thing.....
