Sparky here is also a master in replacing caps, maybe it would be a nice test ( you do have two identical 9600gso's right? ) to maybe cap mod one and leave the other stock, and watch if anything will happen to either one..

I'm more leaning towards believing that with f@h, the gpu itself isn't going to die quickest but the other components on the card ( eg the power circuitry ).
