Well, I am running a Q9400 which is a pretty recent chip, the shipping bios supported my cpu no problem. As to your chip I can't say but maybe ask around as to what bios was present on recent purchased boards, then go to the asus website and see what bios supports what cpu. Best I can tell you.

ps. I Think my board came with the 0704 bios or something like that, board was purchased within the last month or so.
