Nice results. It seems like triple SLi is still better for all Vantage presets though.

these vga's go very fast but I think that in vantage run's triple 280gtx are a little faster.....we will see with the official drivers release

That's also considering the use of a THREE gpu setup when a single one of those gpu's is already on par with and sometimes faster then a single 4870 gpu. In my opinion ATI/AMD have a real winner with the 4870x2...the size is earily reminiscent of the Voodoo 5 6000 (plus some) but what matters is performance, and they seem to be right on track.

These cards are very powerful in 3d's
That sound like :
I make 20k 2006 with 8 core Xoen and single 8800gt..and you have lower score with Cel430 and GTX280 3-SLi.... => 8800gt is 3times more powerful than GTX280 .... period
In the other thread you are quoting one of the best benchers in the world i see, you are benching 3dmark with "Feature Tests"

i think that in xtreme and high 4870x2 will be beter than 280gtx, but for entry and performance 280are the cards to use ...just my tough, need to test more.

About 6gg in vantage, well, don't think it is possible, not with a quad core

6gg in 06-05-03-01 will show pretty soon, well i hope more than 6gg, becuase 6gg compared to the master k|ngp|n gonna be crap

you can upload score , but cannot publish till will be released official driver and will be futuremark approved
