The Orange/white ports are only for data storage, depending on which setting you have the Xpert drive in BIOS, you may loose data on disks.

I putted my previous RAIDs on the Red ports and set RAID on BIOS, that ones are ICH10R controlled. Previously I had this drives running Vista on ICH9R and they booted with ICH10R, just installed new drivers under Vista to make all work fine.
