    We have encountered with the X38 models combined with certain PSU's that some boards with LLC enabled had very bad overvoltage spikes at high voltages set... eg 1.45 set with LLC could give spikes to 1.6 region... some fear degredation, unstability etc...

    If it's for 1.25core or below I just set 1.35 in bios and let her run, if I want to go more I rather have it on...
