I'm not a fan of it myself. It's easy to compensate for vdrop, and Intel included vdrop for a reason. And they know a lot more about these things than I do.
Sure LLC is handy if you run out of vcore options, but these boards can be set to over 2v in BIOS and very few of us will ever go that high.
