    My V2000 Case...

I posted most of this in the watercooling section, but thought I would put the new revision here.

I cut out the tray behind the cpu for easy removal of the cpu bracket for tinkering, and used a hole saw to cut two holes for cable management.

Dont be fooled... It's not a Koolance radiator! Its a Feser X-Changer Triple 120 radiator! I modified the original Koolance fan shroud removing a little metal at the front and back, and mounted 3 Sanyo-Denki Ace 120mm x 36mm fans. Of course I had to use the Koolance riser to get that thick radiator some clearance so it didn't hit my top video card! And it looks cool too.

    my shop assistant, Trinity.

Some logisys cold cathode fan lights in front, with Noctua NF-S12 1200 rpm fans all around for some quiet airflow. Case temp is only 3-5 deg F above ambient most times. Many times, If air is circulating in the room, case temp matches ambient.

Guys I just bought what looks to be the last V2000 Blk plus in the UK, new stock is V2010 which is ATX and puts the motherboard back the right way up.

If you want the old style you are either going to have to go with the rebranded versions or search like mad right away

Now to decide how I am going to build the thing...
Got a problem with your OCZ product....?

Sure. Here's my V1000 currently. I will be redoing the loop when I add a GPU waterblock and 120mm radiator

You might have figured this out already, but running drives at angles is highly discouraged. Its a spinning disk, ya'know. I would try to find a way to mount them vertically (90*) if you want to show the window.

    Any documentation?
Cant remember to have seen anywhere that drives have to be mounted vertically.

Love the color, artwork is a person to person thing so that's cool, and wow, it just made me feel like mine isn't all that great in comparison...so jealous of the red....

sure lots of you have already seen this, soon to be retired as i am moving on to bigger and better mod jobs, kinda fubar'ed the window job and its not as clean as I would like. thinking about removing the optical...

Wish I had a pic of the whole thing, the lower bay looks MUCH better now than it did b4. moving one of the hd trays parallel with the case is such a looks saver

Here is my 2000B..... I hated to see that bottom space going to waste for hdds The top is cut out for a triple rad for gpu cooling.

I put a Crystal Fontz lcd in the top bays to monitor gpu temps or whatever, mainly because it looks good and the top two bays are taken up by the rad/fans anyway

This side window has to go... I don't like the fan cutouts that were done on it before I got the case, I haven't decided yet what to replace it with...
