ATI Radeon HD 4000 Series discussion

Well so much for the 4870x2 not using CF rumor. Now we have a rumor to the contrary. I will be very disappointed if AMD releases the R700 with basically the same driver and microstuttering issues as current multi-GPU solutions. I may hold onto my GTX280 if that's the case. Microstuttering reduces the value of multi-GPU even when a game has proper driver support. At the very least I would like to see SFR and tiling support in future drivers so that when micro-stuttering becomes noticeable in certain games we could just switch to SFR or "super-tiling" .
