Let's see how they behave themselves when they have the lead again. We'll have to see if they give us great prices out of the kindness of their hearts. I'm in for a 4870x2 on release day for sure. It looks like it's going to kick some serious tailbone. Maybe we'll start getting back to the old days of 6 month releases like clockwork and vicious competition between Nvidia and ATI (AMD). But I wonder what AMD would do about a 55nm GTX295 GX2. Now if AMD could just catch up to a company like Intel, who hasn't been sitting on their arses for the past year waiting for them to catch up we could be back to competitive markets for CPUs and GPUs.
