Our systems are very similar
plus you can undervolt, underclock your 2d (as im doing now) to save some heat in your loop while in 2d...
the only real difference i see between us is the ram.. have you tried the rampage bios mod for your motherboard? i tried it and never switched back, granted it took a day or 2 to tweak out the motherboard, but i was able to make a HUGE increase in ram latency and bandwidth.
is your rad on the back of your case? i need to do something with mine, its in the front of the case... have to make a bezel or something so there is no chance of recirculated hot air...
