I saw those, they are cool, but you have a case with the power supply mounted down, not up,like most of us.It is not very recommended to draw hot air into the power supply. If you mount the fan to push air into the NB cooler, you overheat the video card, which is already heated up.

Any other solutions to this?I wonder if all the motherboards with X38/X48 have this problem and cannot mount the Tr 120 Extreme vertically. From my oppinion, the vertical position is the ideal one.You have one fan that draws air from the case, cools the CPU fan,the PWM area, and then the air goes out with the help of the fan that is mounted on the back of the case.

If I choose to go with Noctua NH-U12P,will I have the same problem,or I could mount it vertically without a hitch.I am aware that the Thermalright 120 Ultra extreme is the best on the market.

Also,if I decide to replace the stock cooling with a Noctua U6,will I have the same problems or the mounting problem will be solved?
